We welcomed our P4, P4-5 & P5 classes to their first Reconnector of Term 4 today. The theme for this was Positive Thinking and Teamwork. Our Social target this week was 'I can start the term with a positive mindset'. Well done to all of our pupils and our achievers, Aaron Gormley, James White and Kyle Shorthouse.
We looked at how we can achieve so much more when we have a positive mindset and work as a team. We also learned about Ramadan which many people are celebrating now. We thought people had to have resilience and a positive mindset to fast all day until the sun goes down. Some children shared how Ramadan was celebrated with their families too.
Next week our Social Target is 'I can look after my school environment demonstrating responsibility and respect'. This is in line with World Earth Day on Thursday 22nd April where we will put off our lights for an hour along with many places around the world.
We hope the sun continues to shine for everyone this weekend and we get to be outside and have fun together.
