Primary 4 worked very hard all week to put the finishing touches to their Movie Experience Afternoon on Thursday.
The event was organised by the children to showcase their Performance poems about "Games I Play". They were inspired by the performance poet, Michael Rosen.
Harry, Isla, Iris and Cameron were excellent at allocating jobs to everyone and making sure everyone knew what they were doing. Well done to the Managers!
Parents were greeted in the foyer and ushered to their seats for an exciting afternoon showcasing the hard work.
The Performance poems were recorded by the children using IMovies and a few boys and girls confidently recited their poems in front of their parents/grandparents and friends. Mrs Wehmeyer and Mr McKinnon were very proud of the effort everyone put into this project. P4 were Confident Individuals, Effective Contributors, Responsible Citizens and Successful Learners.
Well done P4 - you were spectacular and shone brightly. Next week the boys and girls will upload their videos into Glow.
Today we said a tearful goodbye to Mr Sean McKinnon, who has been on his final placement in P4 since before Christmas. His kind, caring nature made him an instant hit with the children. We thank him for all his help and support and wish him well for his future. He will be a wonderful teacher!
