Good Afternoon,

How can it possibly be the end of the final full week of term already? This term has just flown by. As always it has been a very busy week and one with many highlights.

The first highlight being the return of Miss Yorkston to class again. We were delighted to see her on Monday morning so much so that our cheers could be heard around the entire Pitcorthie Estate. Miss Yorkston was also delighted to return to class and appreciated our cheers, hugs and lovely get well soon art work and messages we had made for her return.

The second highlight of the week was being given the opportunity of being the Choir for our P1 Nativity. It was lovely to see our young Canmore friends and siblings on the stage performing the wonderful story ‘Stable by Starlight’ and we were truly honoured to provide the singing and music for their dances. Well Done P1 and Mrs Davie you were all superstars!

We also finally finished our board games during our IDL lessons this week. Over the past 6 weeks we have been working very hard on developing our ideas, creating and testing our fantastic board games. For writing we had a go at writing a series of instructions for our games. We are looking forward to next week where we are inviting the Primary 2 to a game’s afternoon for the chance to preview our games.

Of course, our Christmas Party with P4 on Wednesday was a huge success. Everyone looked Fab-U-Lous in their glittery, light up and smart party outfits and we had a wonderful afternoon filled with music, dancing, food and games such as, four corners, pass the parcel, dress the snowman and Santa story.

The final highlight of the week was creating our hanging gonk decorations. We have been looking forward to completing this task all week and are thrilled with the results. We hope you are too!

We wish everyone a very happy weekend and we look forward to the shorter week next week and the highlights it may bring.
