Good afternoon everybody.
It has been an unusual week with the Monday Bank Holiday and Thursday's In-Service but we have kept busy.
We have looked at the months of the year and explored the use of calendars in our numeracy slots. The children enjoyed finding their birthday month and wrote their names at their birthday date.
In Bounce Back we have reinforced the importance of honesty and being able to admit when we make mistakes. we had a discussion around 'was it fair that Jack, from Jack in the Beanstalk, took the hen and the harp from the giant?'
In our literacy we have explored verbs. The children enjoyed doing the actions for some of their favourite verbs.
The children really enjoyed their Outdoor Learning where we were making art pictures on the grass using things we can find in the environment. They were really happy with their results. I was so proud of the really good teamwork and skills they were using. I have uploaded pictures onto Seesaw.
In art this week we made a lovely frog on a Lilly leaf. Finn thought they were all amazing.
