This week the boys and girls in P3 started a block of addition in maths. Some children have been working on adding numbers to 20. Other groups were working at adding single digits to two digit numbers up to 100 and also multiples of 10.

This week's writing was about a pair of magic roller skates. The children were trying hard to use description in their writing, connectives and accurate capital letters and full stops.

In Art, the children created their own toy for a toy shop display. They could use cut paper, pastels, crayons, pens and paint. The result is a collection of balls, kites, stuffed toys, robots and vehicles. The display is in the process of being put together and it is already looking super.

At project time, the boys and girls sorted toys according to the materials used. We also had an interesting discussion about what materials were best for the environment.

The children had a great time at the Children in Need event organised by P2. All the boys and girls displayed some great dance moves! Thank you all for your kind donations.

Could I please ask that you check that your children's clothes are labelled so we can avoid mix ups or unclaimed clothes. Thank you so much.

Have a lovely weekend.
