Good afternoon everyone.

We have had another busy week in P3. I can't believe how quickly the weeks are flying by.

The children are working on their division by exploring repeated subtraction and equal sharing. I have added some activities on Seesaw to compliment their class learning.

We have looked at various modes of flight this week and watched some clips on the unsuccessful attempts people had in the past in their determination to fly. Thank goodness the Wright brothers were successful! For our outdoor learning, we made Sycamore Seed Helicopters. It was a windy day so it was great fun seeing the wind make them travel much further than they would have done on a fine day. For science we made paper aeroplanes and have looked at what makes a plane fly further. In art we have made lolly stick aeroplanes. They won't fly but they certainly make good models to play with.

I must compliment the children who got their flu immunisation as a couple of them were a bit apprehensive but they faced their fears and were successfully immunised. Well done to all of you.

It has been Anti-bullying week and we looked at what bullying looks like, what it sounds like and what it feels like. We had a lot of good discussions on bullying and wanted to focus on the positive so we made posters on being kind as the children really felt that kindness to all is very important.

It was fun today to see everybody dressed down for Children in Need day. Thank you, as always, for taking part.

Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Shearer
