How nice to see the sunshine this week, I hope it lasts!
We have completed our information handling and our weight topics this week and are ready to look at 2D shape and tiling next week.
In Spanish, we looked at weather symbols.
The children enjoyed exploring minibeast life cycles and have made beautiful painted rocks for them to place in their garden or somewhere in the local environment. (although I don't think they will want to part with them!)
The children looked amazing in their World Book Day costumes. We made book marks and completed a Skittles investigation from Roald Dahl and the Chocolate Factory.
We are following national guidelines on the importance of washing hands frequently especially before eating food.
Next week is Sports Week and the children can come in on Friday 13th dressed in sports gear and there will be baking for sale as well as Sport Relief rainbow wrist bands.
We have said farewell to Mr MacFadden and we wish him well in his future career.
Hope you all have a lovely (sunny) weekend!
