We have been working on our money skills this week and are able to recognise the various coins and notes that we can use. We have looked at adding totals of money and at giving change.
Our Literacy Circles looked at Katie Morag and The Tiresome Ted and the feelings that can change when a new sibling arrives.
We were very excited on Thursday morning as we have been so lucky to receive an Elf on the Shelf on loan from Santa. This was in response to the children writing very persuasive letters to Santa asking if we could please borrow one from him.
We are in the final stages of preparing all the wonderful items for the Christmas Fayre on Friday. We look forward to seeing those of you who are able to attend. We will be on the Infant balcony so please come and see our stall!.
You will have received the letter about next Wednesday's (11th) trip to St Leonards Church to make Christingles. We are very fortunate to be the only 2 classes in the school that are going. We will leave sharp at 9am and will return in time to eat our Christmas dinner at 12.50pm. We would really appreciate any volunteers who are available to come with us.
Please let me know if you are able to help by returning the slip at the bottom of the letter.
Thank you as always for your continued support.
Miss Shearer
