P2b Weekly Update

Apologies for last week's disappearing update, I have no idea what happened to it!
We had a lot of fun sharing our 'Dream Houses' with 5 other classes on Monday afternoon where we received lots of positive comments about the beautiful designs and very creative ideas.
We were very lucky to have the P5/6 class come to share stories that they had written and illustrated with us. Our class were very impressed with their very creative ideas. Definitely some future authors in the making!
Throughout our Literacy slots this week, we have explored the story of Hansel and Gretel and were able to retell the story using our sequencing skills. In Art, we will be making puppets to use in story telling.
We have taken part in sports designed for children with disablities to raise awareness of issues others have to overcome to succeed in sport.
We went into the field for Wellie Wednesday and were able to find and classify leaves and do a selection of tree rubbings as well as building dens. Lots of fun was had by all.
