Good afternoon to you all.
It is hard to believe that we are at the end of Term 3! The time has really flown by since we have returned to whole school teaching. It has been so nice to have all the children back.
We have worked on following the rule in patterns and sequences and completed our symmetry in our maths tasks this week, using our problem solving skills to find out 'who the culprit was that mixed up all the signs on the school trip!'
The children took part in free choice writing in their Big Writing task reinforcing sentence structure and presentation skills.
We took part in Outdoor Learning on Wednesday afternoon and the children made a variety of  homes for mini-beasts. They were very creative and used great team building skills. It was great to see 2 ladybirds and some ants moving in before we left the field area.
We have completed some Easter crafts that showed off their creative skills. I am sure they will enjoy sharing their designs with you.
We had 2 members of the Junior Leadership Team (JLT) come to class and work with them to design pictures to make a collage for each of the houses. (Air, Earth, Fire and Water) I am looking forward to seeing the finished results.
We have watched and sequenced the Easter story in preparation for the Easter celebrations.
I hope you all have really great holidays and I am crossing fingers for some nice weather.
See you all in Term 4.
Miss Shearer
