Good afternoon everybody.
In Numeracy this week, the P2's have looked at place value with numbers to 20 and the P3's have explored place value to 100 as well as working on column addition in our jotters.
Spanish this week was learning the months of the year. The children noticed how similar sounding the months are all except January (Enero).
For our project, we designed pictures for our wall display of homes and food around the world. The children did notice that in the U.K we do eat a lot of foods from around the world.
In our ICT slots, we have worked on our Teach Your Monster to Read skills which is lots of fun as well as good learning.
Our Big Writing was exploring a Rainy Day from a picture stimulus and the children came up with very good story ideas.
Our Art was making a rainy day picture from card, pipe cleaners and cupcake cases. I hope you like the finished results!
