Good afternoon to you all.
I cannot believe this is our last full week! It is great to have sunshine outside and I am hoping we will get some of the same when the holidays arrive.
We have completed coordinates in Numeracy and are looking at a variety of number strategies just to consolidate their learning.
Big Writing this week was creating comics. It will take a few days to complete them but they have come up with great ideas for their characters.
We will be looking at Living and Growing next week and the videos discuss the proper names for body parts. They may share the names with you.
The P3's have watched a video from Mrs Heggie showing them their new area and cloakroom and of course the P2's are joining with other P2's to form our new P3 class for next academic year.
School reports were put in their bags yesterday.
I am so proud of the children for creating the Wee Krafters in their Discovery Learning. Most children in the class did make something even if they didn't want to be part of the group but it was such a pleasure to be the facilitator in their learning. I watched them grow in confidence as they took on roles within the team and witnessed excellent collaboration and team skills and saw their confidence grow. I am so proud of them and am happy to tell you that they raised the amazing total ... at last count ....of £152. It is really incredible and they will get a chance to decide what resources will be bought for Discovery Learning next academic year.
