Good afternoon everybody.
What a busy week it has been! The children have settled in really well into our class routine although I do think there are a few tired children which is understandable after being in lockdown.
We are creating our own outdoor fitness circuits on Monday P.E sessions and are planning to share their ideas with other groups next week.
In Numeracy, we are continuing to work on division using arrays and sharing into equal groups.
For our project, we have planted a mixture of bulbs and seeds.  These are in our greenhouse and some are growing already!
Reading books were sent home and we read half in class and are hoping the children read the remainder at home. Please return on Monday as the books are required to be quarantined before being re-issued.
The children wrote a lovely poem all about Spring using their senses as stimulus. I am very impressed with their work. We are continuing to work on 'taking on a role' in Drama. It is so good to see the childrens confidence grow as they act out 'being someone/something else'.
Our Art work today was 'Cherry Blossom' using cotton buds to apply the acrylic paint. I am very impressed with the results.
Thank you so much for sending in the children in their costumes today. We had a lot of fun but I think the children will be glad to get rid of Miss Trunchbull. She really is not a very nice Headteacher!
Could I ask that the children all bring their wellies in on Monday please because we are going out to the field for outdoor learning? Thank you.
Have a great weekend.
Miss Shearer
