Good afternoon,

I cannot believe we have completed our final full week of Term 2 and that Christmas is so close!

We have been busy this week making our Christmas cards and our calendars. I think you will be pleased with both as the children really worked hard to create something lovely for you to have.

We have written our school letter to Santa telling him how well we are doing at school. We had a great discussion about 'it's ok to make mistakes as we learn from them.' We have a wonderful, welcoming class and the children should all be proud of their achievements. I know I am.

We were inventors this week for our Drawing Club activity. The children had to think of an amzing invention that would help someone. We had amazing robots that can do a variety of jobs as well as a special gun that fires all the lights on to the Christmas tree and will take them off when you are ready to put the tree away again.

We have continued to work on our subtraction skills using number lines, cubes or Numicon to support our learning.

We are looking forward to working with the P3's next week. They have created games that we are going to play. We are also looking forward to sharing our Christmas party with them on Tuesday morning. Please bring the children to school dressed for their party.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Miss Shearer
