Good Afternoon,

And just like that the last full week of term has come and gone! It has been a week of many highlights!

The first one was getting to meet with our Primary 2 teacher, Miss Shearer on Monday. It was lovely to visit our new classroom area and having the opportunity to spend some time getting to know Miss Shearer and sharing our hopes and visions for P2. We can’t’ wait for the summer holidays to start and end so that we can begin our learning in P2

The second highlight came on Tuesday, when we became the audience alongside the rest of the school, for the P7 rehearsal of their end of school show "Rock Bottom". We thought the show was FAB-U-LOUS and loved watching our P7 buddies performing, singing and dancing on stage. A lot of hard work clearly went into the show and we all really enjoyed it. Well done to all the P7's, P6's and Mr Morgan and Mrs Watt for a brilliant performance.

Our ‘Welly Wednesday’ was our third highlight of the week. As it was our last outdoor learning session we took the opportunity to explore the local park. We had much fun playing together across both classes, on all the play equipment.

Arriving in Greenland for our Daily Mile Challenge was yet another highlight. After using our digital literacy skills learned this year to research facts about Greenland, we were very surprised to learn that despite its name, Greenland is in fact not green but white, due to the large amount of ice and glaciers on the land!

The greatest highlight of the week was the inflatable end of year class treat. We enjoyed bouncing and sliding so much that we even commented that it was ‘the best day ever!’ Our special ice-lolly treat definitely cooled us down.

We are looking forward to more fun and exciting opportunities next week!

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend
Miss Yorkston and P1b.
