Good Afternoon.
As Tuesday 25th of February is 'Shrove Tuesday' (Pancake day) we will be becoming aware of the religious significance this celebration has for Christians. In Literacy we will also be investigating different types of texts as we read and follow a recipe for pancakes. Our Numeracy focus will be on measuring ingredients and learning to use the associated vocabulary. In Health and Wellbeing, we will be discovering where the different ingredients come from, and demonstrating an understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety as we prepare our own pancakes.
