Good afternoon,
Halloween created an engaging context in which to teach our Expressive Arts curriculum this week.
In Dance, we explored and chose ways to move expressively to a medley of spooky music. We also enjoyed being part of an audience as we watched P1b's dances too.
In Drama, we adopted the role of Winnie the Witch and used mime to act out the story, 'Winnie`s New Wand'. We also changed our voices to sound like a witch and performed some of the phrases she used in the story.
In Art, we worked together to create decorations for the school Halloween disco and were really proud of what we had achieved.
In Music, we sang spooky songs and accompanied our songs with musical instruments.
