Good afternoon. You may have heard about Fred, the class ted`s trip to accident and emergency, after falling off his bike this week. Luckily nothing was broken, Fred only suffered a few bumps and bruises. However, this gave us a great opportunity to learn about the role of nurses and doctors in our community. We also enjoyed playing doctors and patients in our role-play area.
We are looking forward to learning about the job of a pilot when we welcome Captain Lyall ( Emily`s dad ) on Tuesday 17th September.
This week the children were really excited about `having homework' and have enjoyed telling each other about the games they have been playing with their parents, grandparents and siblings. The topmarks listening games seemed to have been the most popular.
