We are looking forward to Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day next week and the abundance of learning it will provide.
In RME, we will be becoming aware of its religious significance as we listen to the story of Shrove Tuesday and share our thoughts, ask and answer questions.
In Literacy, we will be investigating different types of text as we read and follow a recipe for our pancakes.
In Numeracy, we will be measuring ingredients and learn to use the associated vocabulary.
In Health and Well-being, we will be discovering where the different ingredients come from and demonstrating an understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety as we create our pancakes.
We look forward to seeing you all at 2.15pm on Wednesday 26th for our 'Sharing the Learning' event.
