Good afternoon,
This week, as part of our R.M.E curriculum, we read the story from the Bible of the birth of Jesus. We learned how important this story is to Christians and that it is called, `The Nativity Story`. A highlight this week was being introduced to our Nativity play, `Stable Story`. We were so excited to learn that we will be dressing up and re-telling `The Nativity Story`. Primary 2’s were also excited to learn that they will have the important job of narrating this year’s Nativity. They have been practising hard and are doing a good job of learning their script lines. Please keep practising these lines at home.
In Numeracy this week, we have continued our learning all about numbers. Primary 1’s have been learning to recognise, write, count and make the numbers 7 and 8. Primary 2’s have been continuing their work on using the number square to find the numbers before, after, one more, one less and in between.
