Good afternoon,
We started the week listening to the story, `Dear Mother Goose', which was a story about a goose who solved all of the problems of her friends. On each page was a letter from a friend with a problem, asking Mother Goose for help. She was very good at solving their problems. The next day we were surprised to receive our own letter from Mother Goose. She was informing us that she was going to take a break and needed us to take on the problem-solving for her. We replied enthusiastically and so began our STEAM topic !
Through the challenge of protecting Humpty Dumpty from damage during his constant falling off walls, we began to develop early inquiry, investigative and analytic skills such as: making suggestions, making predictions, explaining choices and decisions and demonstrating creative thinking. We hope you enjoyed watching our endeavours on the Seesaw video and sharing the successes with your child.
We are looking forward to receiving a letter from another fairy tale or nursery rhyme character with a problem for us to solve again next week!

Have a lovely weekend
