Good afternoon,
`Drawing Club' was a big highlight for all of the children this week. We enjoyed the story `Robot Rumpus' before creating ,drawing and sharing our own robots.
`Drawing is a powerful precursor to writing and `Drawing Club' is an innovation by the educationalist Greg Bottrill which provides the children with opportunities to hold their pencil correctly, to create, to collaborate, to communicate and to gain confidence in the writing process through an exciting, engaging and motivating way.
I`m sure you felt their excitement when they shared their robots with you!
