Today our Reconnector focused on Chinese New Year and 2022 being the Year of the Tiger. We learned that red is a lucky colour and children were often given envelopes of sweets or money to celebrate.
We also got the chance to see the story of Hamish the Hairy Haggis as we didn't have time to watch this last week. The story was about Hamish trying to get away from the Haggis Bashers who wanted to eat him during Burns Night. Luckily he managed to run away with some tatties and neeps!
Our Social Target this week was 'I can be responsible in my choices, actions and words. Our achievers were Olly Green, Cara Harwood, Alyssa Heagney, Millie Robertson and Samuel Campbell. A special mention from Mrs Hay and Mrs Baxter went to Teighlor Roche and Amy Thomson. Well done to everyone!
