Today our Reconnector was all about 'Giving' and we celebrated raising £655 for Cancer Research in our Race for Life but we also looked back at our fundraising for Jeans for Genes and Macmillan. We realised we had raise over £2000 this Term! Keeping with the theme of giving, we handed over our many bags of donations to David from the Dunfermline Foodbank. He took these away and gave us a note later saying we had donated over 200kg of items that will help lots of families over the next few weeks.
Our Social Target this week was 'I can approach the remainder of term with a positive mindset' and we have certainly done this! Well done to Gregor Howie, Maggie Chisholm, Eva Corneanu, Sorcha Cowan, Emily Watt and Emilia Rice,
Our clip today showed a fox who was learning why giving is better than getting and how it made him feel better to give to others. We all felt very proud that we had been giving so many things to others recently.
