On Wednesday, Primary 4/5 made a trip to Duloch library as part of our literacy and reading focus this term. We had a fantastic talk from the two librarians and had the opportunity to enhance our understanding of different genres.  The reading homework project deadline for this term is the end of next week and we are really looking forward to the pupils' presentations. Please remember if you completed your project online you can email this into school, bring it in on a pen drive or send it through GLOW. If you haven't managed to complete your second book, please bring along your summary so far and perhaps the class can create a prediction as you finish your reading at home!

In class we have also been exploring probability and linking this with fractions. We have loved using games and interactive group tasks to build upon our learning and we are growing confident in this area. We have  looked at apostrophes in grammar and focused on the use of its and it's within our writing.

On Thursday, we also enjoyed listening to our guest speaker Rosie as she explained a little more about the ears and how to look after them. One of the boys in our class also helped Rosie with her talk as he explained how different people use hearing aids to support their hearing.

Once again we have had a busy week and we look forward to having a few days off at the beginning of next week.
