Good Morning,
Our last Friday of the school session!
This week has been filled with various transition activities.
Well done to our P7 pupils who have engaged in a variety of transition activities and visits. It will come as no surprise that I have received positive feedback from secondary colleagues regarding our young people. Many thanks to Inverkeithing High, Woodmill High and Dunfermline High for ensuring this worthwhile experience.
It was wonderful to have all of our new P1 children and parents join us throughout our Teddy Bear's Picnics. We are very much looking forward to you joining us in August.
You should now be aware of classes and new class teachers for next session.
Pupil reports will be issued today. These will be emailed directly to you via PDF format.
It would be fair to say this week has brought about significant changes to our planning for return in August'20. As inidcated in a letter issued to you by Carrie Lindsay, Executive Director of Education and Children's Services, the Scottish Government have asked schools to now plan for all children to return to school should it be safe to do so week beginning 10th August'20. At this time we still continue to put in place a contingency blended learning plan should we need to adopt this. This plan and key details will be shared with you once finalised.
Further communication from Carrie Lindsay will also be issued prior to the end of term to keep you updated on all developments.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and lots of  fun if you are participating in Dunfermline Children's Virtual Gala Day.

Best wishes,
Laura Howie
