Good Morning. I hope all of our children and families have had a positive week. We continue to be very proud of our pupils for the excellent perseverance, resilience and responsibility they have demonstrated towards learning at home. We continue to be very grateful to our parents and families fo their continued support also.
I'm sure you will agree our Virtual Sports Day has been a great success and we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all video clips of the children participating in the various challenges- well done everyone! Please look out for an additional presentation to the our assemblies this morning in which we will share the highlights of our Virtual Sports Day together with an announcement of the house earning most points! Massive thanks to Mrs Hay for all of her efforts in ensuring this event was a such a success and to our House and Vice Captains for encouraging and motivating their house members!
National Thank a Teacher Day was celebrated on Wednesday 20th May in which the hard work, problem-solving and professionalism of teachers was recognised. I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all Canmore staff throughout recent months for the support they have offered to our school community and as many parents have described 'ensuring some normality and routine for children'.
Following the First Minister's announcement yesterday, I am sure you have many questions regarding how schools will move forward. There is no local guidance to share at the moment. Should you have questions or queries please do not hesitate to email me directly Laura.Howie@fife.gov.uk
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend when it comes!
Best wishes,
Laura Howie
