Good afternoon

I can't quite believe that I am sitting here writing the final message of the year, it seems like only yesterday that we were starting our p3/4  journey together. I have really loved getting to know some of you for the first time and teaching some of you again. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you for your hard work, determination and resilience throughout the year. It has been a priviledge being your teacher!

Our last week has been one of much fun, laughter and excitement. On Monday we got to showcase our audience skills when we were invited to watch the p7s dress rehearsal of their leavers show. We were amazed by the acting talent presented by some of our p7 friends and had much fun laughing at the comedy scenes. We wish our p7s all the best as the embark on their new learning journey at high school.

On Wednesday we said our goodbyes to Mrs Kernohan and Miss Shearer at their retirement assembly. Despite it being a sad occasion we all had much fun laughing at the teachers being very silly as the performed their little plays about both teachers. We will miss both ladies terribly but wish the a wonderful, well deserved retirement.

In outdoor learning we had our teddy bear picnic. We were also joined by a special guest Marvin the Mole who wrote to us again and hid treats around the field for us to find. He then stayed for the rest of the day to find out what it is like to be a pupil at Canmore. We were also presented with our gold and silver Natural Connections awards by Mrs Ewing.

On Thursday we had some inflatable fun! There was lots of laughter throughout our time.

We finished the year with a lovely chilled out film and ice lolly before going outside to clap out our p7 friends for the last time.

Finally I would like to say a huge thank you to all parents and carers for your support help and patience throughout the year it is very much appreciated.

I hope you all have the best summer holiday!
