This week has marked the end of Term one. Time flies so quickly when you are having fun! It has been great to take time to reflect this week on our successes in the term. We have taken time to look at how we have been:
-Successful learners
-Confident individuals
-Responsible citizens
-Effective contributors

We have also taken the time to edit our writing for the young writers competition and practised our handwriting as we submitted this piece of work in the middle of the week to "Young Writers".
We have also focused on partitioning for addition and have found success in this area too.
In Science and Social Studies this week we have been learning about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We have also learned about producers, consumers and decomposers, focusing on their role in the rainforest. Our rainforest boxes have also gone home to enjoy. Some pupils also had the opportunity to complete a listening and following instruction task to create a kite. We have really tried to improve our listening skills throughout the term.
