Primary 4/5 are happy to announce that our business name for this year is Crafty Christmas. We have all received a letter outlining our role within the business and have selected the items we are going to create. The different teams are as follows:
Advertising, Quality Control, Finance and Stall Design. We have already met in these teams to discuss and plan our enterprise topic.

Our focus on the world of work has also allowed us to research different skills and qualities of future occupations. We have began creating Power Point presentations in ICT on our future job. The class will continue to work on these within class time and as part of their home learning through GLOW and then we will present this presentation to the class in December.

In literacy, we enjoyed writing a letter of complaint. We had lots of persuasive ideas on why Tesco Extra should help us with our broken products. The persuasive language of the class is increasing and we are becoming confident recognising and using a formal letter format within writing.

The class have also been busy learning about different strategies to use for addition problems. We also looked at how a RUCSAC can help us solve word problems. We have made some videos explaining each method, You can log into our class blog to watch our learning first hand! We hope you enjoy our recordings.

Our class blog is now live and each child had the opportunity to upload their learning to their folder and outstanding effort/examples are posted via the blog link. Please find the password attached to the letter that you received last week to gain access to this.
